Troy Schelke has been impressed with there Senior Leadership with 4 of those players on the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team in 2019. They have won 3 straight GTCE Division Titles in there time on the squad. Good leaders on & off the field. Good students in the classroom & also on the playing field. They are 8-0 on the season. Good inspirations to young kids to watch those 4 guys do on the Football Team & help them win a lot of games during that time being. Caring about those young kids to succeed in life in general in the future. They had older guys on the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team in the past years help those 4 Seniors to succeed in general also too. Those 4 Seniors are hard workers in practices & games. Do very well in the classroom & helps them do very well in Football. Seeing all the results come into play now. They where on Division 8 District & Regional Championship Title Teams a year ago. Went to the Division 8 Semifinals & lose to the Breckenridge Huskies at Chesaning HS a year ago 13-0. They want to play for a Division 8 State Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit, MI on Thanksgiving Weekend. Harbor Beach Is A Football Town Period. They Love There Football Also Too In Harbor Beach.
Devin Pfaff has been a good all-around player in the last 2 years for the team. He is the man to help this running game & guide the Defense to be successful down the road. Good student in the classroom & loves to play Football. Tough hard nose player on the team. Good inspiration to young kids in the town of Harbor Beach. Well liked guy in School & also on the Football Team. Good competitor for the team. Wants to win for the team & for the fans & his family. Wants to guide them to go along in the Division 8 Playoffs once again in 2019. Troy Schelke & Ron Wruble love Devin Pfaff all along for the Harbor Beach Pirates Football & Program. Michael Anderson is a good leader on the team also too. He can play QB/RB/WR for Head Coach Troy Schelke in his 3 years on Varsity. Remember in the 2017 GTCE Division Championship Game at Jerry Herp Field in Ubly. On 4th & 5 Jimmy Schelke hit Michael Anderson in stride for a TD in the 3rd Quarter to take a 20-6 lead in Week 8 of the 2017 High School Football Season. Week 5 of the 2019 High School Football Season at Jerry Herp Field in Ubly. Michael Anderson was brilliant in the victory against there rivals the Ubly Bearcats in a 29-14 victory on Ubly’s Homecoming Night. Ran a long TD run in the 3rd Quarter to open the game wide open. Saw him made 2 unbelievable receptions in the opener at Marsh Field in Bad Axe in the 2nd Quarter. Brilliant in the Sandusky Redskins Game last week at Woodward Field & Wayne Roberts Track & Field in Sandusky. Caught 2 TD receptions & rushing TD to clinch the outright GTCE Division Title. Saw him threw a TD pass to Mason Jahn in the opener a year ago at home against the Bad Axe Hatchets. He is a speedsters indeed. Good inspirations to young kids in the town of Harbor Beach too. Nathan Siemen is another good player on the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team as well too. Could’ve made a couple of receptions in the 1st Half of the Sandusky game on the road last week. Made one up in the 2nd Quarter to keep the drive alive. See him made a couple of receptions on the road against the Bad Axe Hatchets in the opener. Scored 2 times in that one. Receiving one & Rushing one. Scored a couple of times on a reverse play a year ago at home. Ubly Bearcats game in Week 5 & Flint Beecher one in the Regional Championship Game in the 4th Quarter. Plays WR/CB. Good player for the Football Team. Good inspiration to young kids to look up too as well. Good guy to talk to. Works hard in the Classroom & in sports as well. Evan Smaglinski is a big guy. Good guy as well too. Plays OL/DL for the team. Anchor on the both sides of the ball & line. Open up holes for the RB’s & QB’s to run. Dedicated guy as well too. Hard worker on the team in practices & games. Good in the classroom. Does very well in the classroom loves to compete with the best of them. Troy Schelke & Ron Wruble are blessed to have Evan on the team. Does the right things for the team to be successful on & off the playing field. Work in the classroom & work in practices & games.
