Jake Townsend is doing very well as a Sophomore for the Cros-Lex Pioneers Boys Basketball Team for 3rd Year Head Coach Lance Campbell in the 2019-20 season. 13-1 overall record & 9-0 in BWAC Conference Play. Coming off the bench giving them a good spark. Giving them good minutes for the team needs the most. Playing to his expectations at all-times. Good student of the game & also in the classroom. QB on the JV Cros-Lex Pioneers Football Team that went 7-2 overall record. Smart QB as well too. Good competitor & play with the 2 best players in the BWAC Conference this season in Hunter Soper & Tyler Johnson both of them are Juniors at C-L HS. Loves to play with Hunter & Tyler. Both of them are mentoring Jake Townsend very nicely indeed. Jake is a good team player. Played on the undefeated JV squad a year ago as Freshman for Head Coach Bryce Davis. Lance is proud of what Jake is doing on the Basketball Coach already now. Inspiration to young kids all-around the community helping them succeed & be like Jake Townsend these days of ages in the future for the Cros-Lex Pioneers down the road. Keep on going for it more.
