Bruce Pearl took over as Auburn Tigers Men’s Basketball Head Coach in the 2014-15 campaign. Took him 3 years to build that program up. Went to the NCAA Tournament 2 years ago. Lose in the 2nd Rd of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. A year ago took the Auburn Tigers to the 2019 Final Four at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Lose to the Eventual National Champions Virginia Cavaliers in the Final Four Game. They beat the Kentucky Wildcats in the Elite 8 Basketball Game in Atlanta. This season they lost 5 games to Alabama, Florida, Missouri, Georgia, & Kentucky all in SEC Conference Play in the 2019-20 campaign. Lose to the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday on the road. Kentucky is outright SEC Conference Champions. Bruce has done a good job as Head Coach of this team in his 6 season at the helm in Auburn. Program Builder. Knows what he is doing as a Basketball Coach. Did that everywhere he went to. They will be a good NCAA Tournament Team in 2020 once again. Auburn is no slouch at all in Basketball.
