Avery Goldensoph pitch his last game on Saturday in the Division 2 District Championship Game against the Frankenmuth Eagles at Marco Maret Field in Frankenmuth. Good 3-year career for the Saginaw Swan Valley Vikings Baseball Team & Program during that time being. Played on the Division 2 State Championship Team as a Freshman in 2018. Has good stuff on the mound for this team. Went 6 1/3 innings in the District Championship Game in the lost. Hard throwing pitcher. Throws over 90 MPH on the mound. Frankenmuth hit him around in that contest. Going to the University of Michigan this coming fall in Ann Arbor. Play for the Michigan Wolverines Baseball Team & Program in the next 4 to 5 years for the Maize & Blue. Play for Head Coach Erik Bakich. Loves those Coaches on the team now in Ann Arbor. Brandon Inge, Steve Merriman, & other ones as well too. Got to meet Avery during the Saginaw High Trojans vs Frankenmuth Eagles District Semifinal Game. Talking about sports for the Maize & Blue. Saw them play in the CWS Finals in 2019 against the Vanderbilt Commodores in Omaha, Nebraska. Lose in 3 games that Finals. Chris Fetter has done a good job as Pitching Coach for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team in 2021 for Manager AJ Hinch at Comerica Park in Detroit. Michigan lost in 2 NCAA Tournament Games in South Bend, Indiana this past week to the UConn Huskies in the 1st Rd Game & Central Michigan Chippewas in the Elimination Game. Got to see him play QB for the Saginaw Swan Valley Vikings Football Team in 2019 in the Division 5 District Championship Game against the Frankenmuth Eagles in a 21-7 victory. Lose to the Almont Raiders in the Regional Championship Game next following week at Almont HS on the lousy muddy field that day too. Pure Athlete for sure. Good hitter on this Ball Club & Good Speed. Saw him race to help his 1st Baseman to the Frankenmuth Out he got him anyways not by a lot. Got him anyways. Base hit off the other Michigan Commit in the Class of 2023 Drew Titsworth in the 1st inning. Leading Off for the Saginaw Swan Valley Vikings in the District Championship Game. Couldn’t score him at all. He struck out Drew Titsworth in that contest as well too. Good qualities & versatility he brings to the table in sports. Good student of the game in sports & also in the classroom. Dedicated year round Avery is in Baseball & other ones too. Hard working individual person each & everyday at practices & games. Good mindset of things he brings for the team & everything he does for himself. Wants to be there to the end. Go at it 110% at all times. Go from there on out. Take one thing at a time. Everything is in the ones category. Push yourself to the limits. Reach your expectations you need to be at now to the end.
