Collin Morikawa won the 149th Open Championship on Sunday at Royal St. George’s Golf Course in England. Also his 2nd major victory of his PGA Tour career. Hold off Jordan Spieth at the end. -15 was the winning score of this 149th Open Championship in 2021. Remember a year ago he won his 1st major on his homecoming at Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco, CA at the 2020 PGA Championship. Also remember him hit this remarkable tee shot on the Par 4 16th Hole got it within less then 10 feet from the hole. Made the Eagle Putt to win his 1st major on the PGA Tour at the Age of 23 years old. Won the 149th Open Championship at the Age of 24 years old on Sunday in England. Had a good 3 years on the PGA Tour already now. Going to play in the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan to represent the United States of America Team in Golf. Also going to be on the 2021 Ryder Cup Team at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler, Wisconsin this coming fall for the United States Team with Captain Steve Stricker at the helm. Won the WGC-Workday Invitational in Puerto Rico on February 28th. Been a fun ride indeed from Collin Morikawa. California Golden Bears have been a very good Golf Team in College in the past few years already now in Berkley, CA in the PAC-12 Conference.
