Scott (Bubba) Goins Has Done A Good Job As Defensive Coordinator For The 2019 North Branch Broncos Football Team.

Scott (Bubba) Goins has done a good job as Offensive Line Coach & Defensive Coordinator for the 2019 North Branch Broncos Football Team. Offensive Line has done very well once again in 2019. Despite losing 4 starters to Graduation a year ago. They have reloaded not rebuild. Michael Gormley, Porter Fielder, Michael Orebaugh, & Evan Caudill to Graduation. They got Brant Mohr, Hunter Reinke, Hunter Ratliff, Drew Ragatz, & Caleb Hitchcock there already now. They have put up 151 points on the scoreboard in the 3 games they have played already in 2019. They put up 161 points on the scoreboard in 2018. -10 points they put up in 2019 so far. Defense is much better then it was a year ago. They gave up 59 on the scoreboard a year ago. They where a young core in that department on Defense. This season gave up 6 points on the scoreboard in the 3 games they played in so far. Only TD they score on was a TD pass Armada Tigers threw one on them in the 1st Quarter in that contest at home in Week 2. 2 Shutouts to Lakeville & Yale away from home. Run Defense is much better then it was a year ago also too. 53 point difference then it was a year ago. Defense Wins Games & Championships Period. Jeremy Ferman is big fan of him already now. Culture has change now at North Branch. He was a 1985 North Branch HS Graduated. Played for the Hall of Fame Head Coach Don Smeznik Sr in 1982-84 on Varsity. Played on the Offensive Line. Went to SVSU & play Offensive Line & got his Degree in Gym Teacher in College. Played Baseball also to for the North Branch Broncos for the same guy as well too. Coaches JV Baseball at North Branch HS. He is a super nice guy to talk to. Big Ohio State Buckeyes Football Fan. Big Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, & Ryan Day type guy. Jim Tressel would preach for his squad. Run The Football, Score TD’s, Play Good Team Defense, & Have Good Special Teams during his tenure for the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team from 2001-10 in Columbus, OH. His Former Head Coach In High School Is A Ohio State Buckeyes Fan As Well Too.
