Cros-Lex Pioneers Got A Victory Over The Richmond Blue Devils At Home In BWAC Conference Play.

Cros-Lex got a home victory on Tuesday Night against the 2-time BWAC Conference Champions the Richmond Blue Devils 55-38. Richmond Graduated 2 Of The Best Guards In The BWAC Conference A Year Ago. Cros-Lex is got the 2 best players in the BWAC Conference this season both of them are Juniors. Played a lot of Basketball during that time being. Played on Varsity for 3 years. Shows you why, Hunter Soper & Tyler Johnson have a good core of them in the 2021 Class at C-L HS. Hunter had 18 Pts to lead the C-L to victory at home & Tyler followed him up with 13 Pts for 3rd Year Head Coach Lance Campbell. Defense was solid in the victory held Richmond to 38 Pts on the scoreboard. Role Players gave C-L a spark to a win. Richmond missed 10 Free Throws & 15 Layups in the lost. Shows you why, C-L is the team to beat in the BWAC Conference in the 2019-20 campaign. JV Squad went 18-0 a year ago. Solid Junior Class now at C-L. Did a good on Daveyon Henderson in this one. Made him frustrated all game long. C-L is got work to do yet. 2-0 in the BWAC Conference. 6-1 overall record. Could’ve been undefeated now. Lost by 3 Pts to Flint Southwestern at SC4 a couple of weeks ago. They beat Marysville, St. Clair, Port Huron Northern, & Grosse Pointe South, & Almont. Tough schedule helps you go along ways in the State Tournament. C-L is the best team in the BWAC Conference, Blue Water Area, TSA, & Whole Sanilac County. Best team I covered so far in the season. Lot of weapons they will give you problems. Lance Campbell isn’t satisfied yet. Work has to be done still. Long season ahead of them yet. Gotta go about your business on a timing basis. Doing it the right way. Play to your expectations at all-times. Trust your stuff & everyone else. Believe in your teammates, coaches, administration, parents, friends, & family. Gotta get better each & every week. Justin Schweiger is improving a lot this season for the Richmond Blue Devils Boys Basketball Team this season for Head Coach Josh Presnell. Been on Varsity for 3 years now. Justin’s Development has come a long ways away this off-season he put in. Seeing that one in the C-L game on Tuesday Night in the lost on the road. He is a good competitor & wants to get better all the time. Gives them all he is got out there. Trusting himself & his teammates.
