Head Coach Gina Bannister is got a good young this past season for the Imlay City Spartans Softball Team in 2019. 2020 squad is going to better. Lots of good returning players off the squad in 2019. They will lost 5 players off the squad. Majority of the squad is coming back. Freshman Pitcher is coming back for her Sophomore Year. Gina is got a good group of girls that can play Softball. BWAC Conference is loaded from Top to Bottom. They gotta stay healthy. Play summer ball. The talent is right there. They gotta put it together. Gina knows what it takes for them to be a good squad going forward to the next few season for the Imlay City Spartans Softball Team. Stay in the task. They got good athletes on the squad right now. Got to stay focus & do the right things that got you there. BWAC Conference has some best Division 2 Softball Action in the State of Michigan. Saw that with the North Branch Broncos Softball Team in the Division 2 State Tournament Run in 2019. Richmond won the BWAC Conference Title. Got upset in the District Semifinal Game at Armada HS against the Marysville Vikings. Marysville lost to North Branch in the Regional Championship Game at Richmond HS 2 weeks ago. Anyone can win anyone on any given day. I enjoyed covering the Imlay City Spartans Softball Team in 2019. There will be more of that coming in 2020 campaign on down. Gina has done a good job with the program for the Imlay City Spartans Softball Team & Program.
