Don Shula passed away at the age of 90 on Monday. Legendary NFL Head Coach for the Baltimore Colts & Miami Dolphins from 1963-95. All-time winningest Head Coach in NFL History with 328 victories. Coach the undefeated NFL squad for the 1972 Miami Dolphins that went 14-0 overall record & be Super Bowl VII Champions. Won it the next season in 1973 in Super VIII. 3 best QB’s he ever had was Johnny Unites, Bob Griese, & Dan Marino. Dan Marino has the record still for most passing yards in his career at QB for the Miami Dolphins during that time being. Good Football Minded Head Coach. Knows the game very well too from top 2 bottom. Win with dignity & class. Hard working Head Coach on a year in & year out basis. Players love playing Don Shula. Cares about them. Trust his stuff on a time 2 time basis & day 2 day basis & night 2 night basis. Go about your business push yourself to your expectations needed to be at all times. Win in the classroom & onto the playing field. Players respected Don Shula on a time 2 time basis. Push yourself to the highest point of Mt. Everest. Don will bring back memories during that time being in a great place for now on. His players will bring that one back to Don Shula did for them. 2 sons Dave & Mike Shula. They where Head Coaches as well too in the past years. Football has been his passion. Understanding on what he did during that time being. Played College Football at John Carroll in a Division 3 Level in University City, OH. Grew up & rise in Ohio. Ohio High School Football is one of the 5 best ones in the nation. John Carroll name that Football Field at Don Shula Stadium now. Defensive Back in College. Went to the NFL & played on 3 NFL teams. Baltimore Colts, Washington Redskins, & Cleveland Browns from 1953-59. Defensive Coordinator for the Detroit Lions in 1960-62. Don will always be a NFL Legendary Head Coach.
