Excellent QB in High School & Committed to play for the Florida State Seminoles Football Team in Tallahassee. Didn’t get wanted to do it anyways. Decided to play Baseball instead. Made the smart choice. Started out as Catcher for the Minnesota Twins & finish his career playing 1st Base. Batted Left-Handed & Threw Right Handed. Ron Gardenhire did amazing job developing Joe Mauer to be a special player for the Twins in 2004-14. Played 15 years for the Minnesota Twins Baseball Team. Had over 2000 career hits on one MLB Team. From St. Paul, Minnesota. Minnesota Twins Baseball Fan when he was young child. Got his wish to play for the Minnesota Twins. Play for a good MLB Manager Ron Gardenhire during that time being. Ron is really good at developing young players to be Special Players in the MLB. Seeing that one from Joe Mauer. Future Baseball Hall Of Famer Coming Up For Him As Well Too. Fun player to watch out there. Broke up the No Hitter in 2013 on the road against the Detroit Tigers. Joe hit a base hit off Justin Verlander in the 9th inning. Twins lost the game anyways.
