Tigers score 1 in the 4th inning to trim the Cubs lead at 2-1. In the 6th inning Kyle Schwarber hit a solo home run in Left Field off Joe Jimenez in the opposite field. Take a 3-1 lead. Detroit storms back scores 5 runs in the 6th inning. Score 1 more run in the 7th inning. Detroit’s hitting was solid in the last 2 games of that Interleague Series. Cameron Maybin, Jonathan Schoop, Miguel Cabrera, & Austin Romine each had 3 hits on Wednesday Night for 3rd Year Manager Ron Gardenhire. No Home Runs for the Tigers in the victory. Buck Farmer made it interesting in the 9th inning. Cubs scored 3 runs in the 9th inning. Found ways to get it done for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team. Ron has done a remarkable job as Manager of this Ball Club in the Rebuilding Department Stand Point in the last 3 years. Ahead of Schedule. Future is bright for this Organization once again.
