Kyren Williams had a good game for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Team to a upset victory over the Clemson Tigers on Primetime on Saturday Night in South Bend, IN. Had a 65 yard TD run in the 1st Quarter to give the Fighting Irish the lead at 7-0. Also scored 2 more TD runs in the Red Zone in the 1st & 2nd OT sections for Head Coach Brian Kelly. 4-star recruit in the 2019 class out of High School in St. Louis, MO area. Played WR in HS. Translated very nicely from WR to RB on this Offense for the Fighting Irish in 2020 as a True Sophomore. OC Tommy Rees is glad to see on what Kyren Williams has done at RB this season. Carried the load for them. Good mind of the game & knowing the playbook. Good passion on what he needs to do out there to be a successful team. Best win they had since 1993 Notre Dame beat the No. 1 Team in the nation at home against the Florida State Seminoles & also had Heisman Trophy Winning QB Charlie Ward on that squad too. Went on to be National Champions that season. Lou Holtz was Head Coach on that squad & also had Rick Mirer at QB. That was Brian Kelly greatest win as a Notre Dame Fighting Irish Head Coach since 2010 he arrived to there man there at the helm. Kyren finish the game with 140 yards rushing & 3 TD runs in a 47-40 upset victory over the Clemson Tigers. 0-7 against Top 5 opponents in College Football. Had a good idea of this game instead. Now there 1-7 against Top 5 opponents Notre Dame was going up against. Kyren Williams was brilliant for this Rushing Attack.
