Dennis Seifferlein was a remarkable HS Golf Head Coach for the CPS Tigers in 1987-06. Lost his 2nd best Golfer he ever Coach in his career on Saturday. Paul Ganley was a good Golfer & also a good guy on the team. 2nd best player in CPS Tigers Golf Team History. Played on the 2 best teams in 2003 & 2004. Be on the Division 4 Regional Championship Team as a Sophomore in 2003. Passed away on June 25th, 2022. 2006 CPS HS Graduated. His Dad Jim Ganley helped out the program when Matt was in HS also too. Graduated in the Class of 2003 at CPS HS. Matt was really good at cutting lawns at his business in the past years. He is going to be missed for sure. Dennis had good Golf knowledges & knew what he was talking about Golf. His Son Scott Seifferlein was the best one around in the Class of 1996 at CPS HS. Still good to this day. Learn that one from his Dad. Huron Shores will miss Paul Ganley also too. He was well liked in that CPS Community. Better Head Coach then John Guttowsky was in Golf. Dennis was at the 2-Man Invitational at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Sandusky this past weekend.
Kevin Callahan played on 2 Dennis Seifferlein’s best Golf Teams for the CPS Tigers in 2003 & 2004. Played on the 2003 Division 4 Regional Championship Team when he was a Junior in HS. Won that Regional at Verona Hills Golf Course in Bad Axe. Get the privilege to play for a good Golf Coach in HS. Dennis a good understanding of the Game of Golf very well. Kevin got fortunate enough to play for a good one like Dennis Seifferlein. Good student of the game & listen to details. Love playing with Paul Ganley in HS in 2002-04. Very sad to see him go at the age of 34 years old. Special Golfer at Huron Shores in Port Sanilac. Good team & individual player. Kevin will remember Paul for a long time coming now. Good bunch they had out there.
Andrew Bopra is very disappointed to see Paul Ganley die at the age of 34 years old. Paired with him in HS for the CPS Tigers Golf Team in 2003 & 2004. Good pairing together in that 2 year span. Got the privilege to play with Paul Ganley & get Coached by Dennis Seifferlein in his time being. Andrew is still a good Golfer now. Good lefty on the roster. Greg Johnson & Kevin Calahan is disappointed to see Paul Ganley gone at a young age. Andrew Graduated in 2005 at CPS HS with Kevin Callahan & Greg Johnson. Special Bunch they had out there in Golf for the CPS Tigers in that 2 year span. Both of them will remember Paul Ganley for a longtime coming now………
