Cros-Lex took care of business in the home opener against the Aramda Tigers 34-12 win in BWAC Conference Action on Friday Night. Defense got the job done in the “W” column. Head Coach Mike LeGrow saw them beat the Marine City Mariners in the opener & Yale Bulldogs last week. Came here to handle there business. Ugly of Not win is a win no matter what people say about any outcome of any game you played or sport you played in. Belly Groppi & other RB got hurt in this contest. Losing a lot of good talent off the squad a year ago. They don’t rebuild they reload instead. Mike has done a good job with the Cros-Lex Pioneers Football Team & Program in his 3 years at the helm. Defending BWAC Conference & Division 4 District Champions in 2021. Took over for Garrett Grundman at this position in the off-season in 2020. Bye Week this coming week. Take on the Almont Raiders on Homecoming Week in 2 more weeks. Do weight lifting & conditioning all this week in practice. Work on plays & get thru with the playbook. Do lots of things to keep them in excellent shape. Armada is my 3rd or 4th best team in the BWAC Conference in 2022. Kyle Rowley has done a good job as Head Coach in his 3 years at the helm now in Armada. Good group of individuals on the squad. There bounce back from this lost & be ready for the rest of the season…….Tough one coming up at home against the best team in the BWAC Conference at home in Week 7 the North Branch Broncos…… Enjoy the bye week…….
