Jason Germain done a good job as Head Coach for the 2022 Millington Cardinals Football Team. Took over for Lenny Dantinne this off-season. Been a Assistant Coach for 22 years. Now the Head Coach at his alma mater. Played on the 2 best Tim Furno’s teams in HS in 1991 & 1992. 1993 Millington HS Graduated. Went to Northern Michigan University in Marquette after HS. Got his Degree in Education. After College got a job for the Millington Schools. Came back home for that one. Grew up & raise in Millington for his whole entire life. Got a District Title against the Standish-Sterling Panthers in the Division 6 District Championship Game on Friday Night at Millington HS. Tim Furno Field. Good atmosphere for this big one on hand. Get a 14-12 win & got revenge from the lost to them in TVC-10 Division Action at Standish-Sterling HS earlier of the season 28-24 lost. Good core of talent on this roster. Losing 19 seniors off the roster to Graduation that went 10-1 overall record in 2021. They don’t reload they reload instead. Good young talented bunch on hand now. 3 keys plays in the win on Friday Night. 3rd & 10 play on the trick play for a TD in the 4th Quarter. Block Pt After Attempt to keep the 7-6 Millington lead in the 3rd Quarter. Stop the 2-Pt Conversion in the 4th Quarter to take a 14-12 lead & stayed that way. Defense Rose To The Occasion Late In The Game. Guide them to be Division 6 District Title in front of your home crowd on hand. Take on Reed City in the Division 6 Regional Championship Game next week in Reed City HS. Pair of 10-1 record go at it against one against for this matchup.
