Frankenmuth Eagles Girls 🏀 Team celebrate there 30th anniversary on Saturday at Frankenmuth HS. 1992 Class B State Champions. Went 27-0 overall record. Got to meet before & during the game. Legendary Head Coach Art Pelzer preach Defense to his team. Had a 91% winning percentage. Got to see the team get a 55-35 win over the Hemlock Huskies in TVC Crossover Game. Head Coach Joe Jacobs was a Freshman at Frankenmuth HS. Knew those girls in School. Assistant Coach Kate Conzelman was on the JV Girls 🏀 Team in 1992. Got called up on Varsity in the postseason. Stephanie “Larges” Rummel played for the Legend in HS. 1989 Frankenmuth HS. Her favorite 3 Head Coaches Art Pelzer, Jim Petteys, & Al DeMott. Offense Wins Games & Defense Wins Championships. Saw that one in 1992 Frankenmuth Eagles Girls 🏀 Team. Good core of talent & individuals. Dedicated bunch of players. Handled there business. Compete in Practices & Games. Reach your expectations needs to be at now. Win in the classroom & also in sports. Art Pelzer & Jim Petteys do lots of work together. Art suffered a stroke a while ago in Florida. Got Alzheimer’s Disease. 82 years old right now. Still alive. Jim was on hand for that game. Goes to a lot of sporting events. I enjoy talking to Jim Petteys. Very nice guy. Police Chief in Frankenmuth for a long time. Retired now. Still goes to the games. Joe Jacobs played for Jim on the 1992-93 Frankenmuth Eagles Freshman 🏀 Team with Adam Kern, Scott Stasik, Paul Campbell, & other ones too. 1992 Frankenmuth Eagles Girls 🏀 Team saw good impressions on Saturday against the Hemlock Huskies. Kate Conzelman’s Daughter Clare is a standout right now. Sophomore right now on Varsity. Mia McLaughlin 3-year player. Verbally committed to the Ferris State Bulldogs in Big Rapids. Solid in the win over Hemlock on Saturday. Lexi Boyke stud on this team. Comeback from her ACL Knee Injury she suffered on December 3rd, 2021 against the Saginaw Heritage Hawks in the opener at Frankenmuth HS. Going to the Central Michigan Chippewas this coming fall. Played Division 1. Good core of talent on this team. Joe does a good job with that unit. Go back to the Art Pelzer & Jim Petteys way now. 1996 Frankenmuth HS Graduated. Best player in School History was Ann Lemeire 1995 Frankenmuth HS Graduated. Played like a guy. Good mindset. Competitor. Loves this game. Came from Akron-Fairgrove. Move to Frankenmuth.
