Cass City Red Hawks Boys Basketball Team remarkable season overall. I was expected from this roster going into the 2022-23 campaign. Head Coach Aaron Fernald had a good core of talent coming back from a year ago. Won the GTCW Division & Division 3 District Championship Title. Good core of them coming back from the 2022-23 season. They will be even better then they where this season. Good core of talent in the Class of 2024 in store. Lose 3 Seniors off the roster to Graduation. Evan Clark, Riley Swiderski, & Michael Fernald in the Class of 2023. You get Carter Patrick back for his 4th year in the program. Cohen Sherman & Tyler Cumper & other ones as well too. Lots of good talent on display now in Cass City. Put up a good fight in the Division 3 Regional Semifinal Game on Monday Night at USA. Down by 1-Pt over the Flint Beecher Buccaneers at halftime. Went on a good run in the 3rd Quarter. Tired out Cass City in the 2nd Half. Show good resilency for the rest of the game. Lost 57-33. Show good passion & other ones too. Reach there expectations all season long. Handle your business. Go from there on out. 6 buzzer shots for GW’s. Saw 2 of them. Carter Patrick’s GW 3-Pointer against the Millington Cardinals at Millington HS. GW Layup against the Bad Axe Hatchets at Bad Axe HS. Comeback from 13 points with 3:45 left in the game. Beat the Bad Axe Hatchets in GTCW Division Action. Get ready to watch them in the 2023-24 campaign. They will be better then this season. Cass City is the real deal. Aaron will have them playing up to there potentials this coming summer. Go from there on out. Cass City is a Sports Town. Lots of fun times in play now in Cass City. Get out & watch them play next season. Going to like watching them play. They where fun to watch this season. Next season is even better. Took them over the Brown City Green Devils this season……. GTCW Division is stronger then the GTCE Division is in Boys Basketball……
