Dennis Seifferlein is the Greatest HS Golf Coach of all-times in Sanilac County History. Lot of good success with the CPS Tigers Golf Team & Program in 1987-06. Incredible Golf Knowledges. Knew what he was talking about. Players into his system very well indeed. Playing alongside his son, Scott Seifferlein at the 2023 Huron Shores 2-Man Invitational in Port Sanilac last week. Best Golfer in School History. 1996 CPS HS Graduated. Had a good career with the Ferris State Bulldogs Golf Team in Big Rapids, MI. Got his degree in Pro Golf Management. Lives in Grand Rapids. Came home to play in this invitational last week. Amazing Golf Knowledges as well too. His Class of 1996 at CPS HS was loaded indeed. Jeremy Dust, Andy Sherman, Clayton & Cory Upper, & Brett Backus. Great bunch of individuals in Scott’s Class. Loaded team they had out there in 1994 & 1995 for the CPS Tigers Golf Team. Undefeated Back 2 Back Years. School record 66 at the Peck Invitational at Willow Tree Golf Course in Melvin in 1995. Team won that Peck Invite. Won the Class D Regionals in 1994. Scott finished 3rd in the Class D State Finals in 1995 on the Individual side of things. Still can Golf very well for a 45 year old man. Knows his Golf very well. Competitor at this sport. All because of his Dad Dennis. Played 45 Holes a day at Huron Shores Golf Course in Port Sanilac in one day. Not kidding you. Barry Ziehm told our HS Golf Team on that one. Got him to where he is at now. Dennis & Scott where dedicated at this sport for a long time. Live & die of this good game of golf. Living the dream about that sport they like the most.
