Jay Green is one of the best High School Girls Basketball Head Coaches in the Whole Thumb Area. Good group of ladies on the Kingston Cardinals squad once again now. Everyone comeback from the squad they had a year ago. I was impressed with that unit on Wednesday Night against the Cass City Red Hawks at home. Gave the Goodrich Martians Girls Basketball Team a good run for their money in non-conference action on the road. Down by 2 points in the late in the game. Lose 45-35 at Goodrich HS. Goodrich made all 8 free throws late in that contest. Division 2 Semifinal Bound a year ago. Put up a good fight against the Frankenmuth Eagles in a scrimmage. Won 1 & Lost 1 in that scrimmage. Kingston put a better fight then Frankenmuth did against the Goodrich Martians. They got Lake Orion on January 24th, 2024 at Lake Orion HS. Their undefeated on the season. Division 1 matchup. Playing against the best of the best on the schedule. It will help them go an long ways away in the Division 4 State Tournament in March. Lapeer Lightning is on the schedule as well too at Lapeer HS. Play the best of the best on the schedule period. Help them make a long postseason run. They are an very good discipline team. They do the job when you are ask to make plays for Jay Green & company. Got a good group of ladies on the roster once again now for the 3rd straight year in a row. You will like this Kingston Cardinals Girls Basketball Team this season……. They are the real deal indeed……..
