Carter Patrick has to play big on Thursday Night against the Beecher Buccaneers in the Division 3 Regional Championship Game at Bad Axe HS. They played Beecher tough in the Division 3 Regional Semifinal Game on March 13th, 2023 at USA HS. Put a good effort in the 1st half of that contest. Beecher blew them away in the 2nd half. They went on to win the 2023 Division 3 State Championship Title at Breslin Center in East Lansing. Beecher is not like they been in the past years. Still Beecher no matter what. They want a victory over Beecher really bad in this contest on Thursday Night at Bad Axe HS. Make plays for Head Coach Aaron Fernald in this biggest game of his career. Played 4 years on Varsity. All-time leading scorer in school history. Guided them to win the GTCW Division crown in the regular season. Back 2 Back Division 3 District Titles. Hit the buzzer beater shot last week against the Harbor Beach Pirates at Harbor Beach HS. 51-48 win. Carter will remember that one for a long time coming. Job ain’t done yet. Unfinished business to settle in yet still to come. Come prepare for this game of his life. His teammates have to play big as well too. Make big time plays & not regret anything in this one. Leave it all on the line. Play Cass City Red Hawks Basketball. 24-1 on the campaign. Go at it 110% & have your big crowd on hand to see them do it once again on Thursday Night at Bad Axe HS. Defending Division 3 State Champions Beecher Buccaneers Boys Basketball Team ain’t going away just yet. Not going to talk about the forfeit games they had to settle in. Going to focus on new things everyday in practices & games. Play Beecher Bucs Basketball for now on period. Good core of talent on display now. Even without their best player not in the lineup with an injury he was dealing with now. Next person has worked out nicely. Cass City put up a good fight on March 13th, 2023 at USA HS. They will be fired up in that game on Thursday Night at Bad Axe HS. Head Coach Marquis Gray has done a good job with that unit in his 3 years at the helm. Took over for Mike Williams position in 2021. Paid dividends at the end of the day. Mike Williams took the Davison Cardinals Boys Basketball Team as Head Coach in 2021. Got upset by Holly last week in the Division 1 Semifinal Game. Mike is a really good Head Coach. Marquis learned a lot from Mike in the past years as a player & assistant coach. Marquis knows his Basketball very well. Players buy into his system. Losing Robert Lee off the team to graduation. Got DaMarcus Burke in the mixed. Eric Jones is a good player also too. Other ones in store. Cass City is no slouch at all. Saw Beecher beat Reese last week at Lakeville HS in the Division 3 Semifinal Game. Beat Millington at the buzzer on Friday Night at Lakeville become Division 3 District Champions once again. Saw beat the Flint International Academy Phoenix on Tuesday Night at Bad Axe HS in the other Division 3 Semifinal Game. Setup a good rematch from a year ago. Love the biggest stage as well too. Excited to cover that contest.
