Chris Babcock was a very good Baseball Coach for the Peck Pirates for a long time. Knew what he was talking about & amazing knowledges of the game he bought to the players in the program. Players respected him on what he did for them during that time being. Respond to other variety of things. They listen to details very well. Led them to wins then losses in the column. Smart individual guy. Head Coach James Welch missed having him there. Great addition to the program. Well liked by everyone else.
Assistant Coach played for Chris Babcock while he was in school. Take over for Chris’s position in the 2025 campaign for the Peck Pirates Baseball Team for Head Coach James Welch. Help out this season. Did a good job with the players on the roster. Preparing for what to come for this unit. Knows his Baseball very well. Make a difference to other ones in the upcoming years ahead. Chris played for Barry Ziehm in HS for the Sandusky Redskins in 1991 & 1992. 1992 Sandusky HS Graduated. Barry knew his stuff very well too. Chris learned that one very well. Took it over to Peck. Michigan Wolverines Sports Fan In Ann Arbor. Detroit Tigers Baseball Fan in the MLB.
Carter Babcock Graduated at Peck HS already now. Catcher, Pitcher, SS, & OF on the roster in 2024 & even in his career. Good player for Head Coach James Welch in the last 2 years. Lose to the Marlette Red Raiders 5-2 in the Division 4 District Semifinal Game in Marlette HS 3 weeks ago. Love having him on the team. Compete with the best of them. Favorite sport he loved the most. Good feel of the game. Good student of the game & even in the classroom. Saw the Michigan Wolverines Football Team be National Champions on January 8th, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX. Get a 34-13 win over the Washington Huskies. Go 15-0 on the 2023-24 campaign.
Chris Babcock will enjoy retirement. Go away from the game of Baseball he liked a lot as a player & coach. Great guy overall. Play Golf as much as possible. Watch the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team play in 2024-present years. See the Michigan Wolverines Sports Teams too live in Ann Arbor. Live the dream also too. Got this Assistant Coach ready to go in 2025 for the Peck Pirates Baseball Team…… 50 years old right now…….
