DC Don (Wink) Martindale will have a good Defense for the Maize & Blue. All started with DC Mike MacDonald in 2021. Jesse Minter kept that trend going in the last 2 years. Martindale mentored MacDonald & Minter very well while they were with the Baltimore Ravens Football Team in 2017-20. Guided them to success as DC for the Maize & Blue in the last 3 years. That 3-4 Defense has paid dividends in a 3-year span. Better results, stats, & other ones too. Win 40 games in the last 3 years. Beat the Ohio State Buckeyes, 3-peat as B1G Conference Football Champions.
Head Coach Sherrone Moore made the best decision to keep the Baltimore Ravens style of Defense for the Michigan Wolverines Football Team for more years to come. Working very well. If it is working don’t fix it. Didn’t fix it anyways. Stay thru the course. Lost a lot of talent off the roster a year ago that went 15-0 overall record. Lots of good young talent on display now. Winning formula in their favor. Sherrone got hired to be the Head Coach for the Maize & Blue this off-season. It was a good hire by AD Warde Manual.
Good group of individuals on the Defensive side of things. Good 2024 Recruiting Class coming in now. They will be good. Trust Sherrone Moore. Knows what it takes to succeed on the playing field. Young players shine on in the biggest stage in 2024. Don (Wink) Martindale will do a good job with that Defense in 2024-present. Won’t be a long time DC anyways. Never last to long at every place he went in the past years. Still be a good Defensive this coming fall in Ann Arbor……
