Hunter Garza guided the Deckerville Eagles to a victory over the Brown City Green Devils in Week 4 of the 2024 campaign on the road. Big road game for Hunter Garza & his crew needed that win really bad. Got it for sure. I remember him in the Regional Championship Game on November 4th, 2023 against the Portland St. Patrick Shamrocks at Portland HS. Guided them to be Regional Champions as a Junior. This game setup for Hunter 2 weeks ago in BC. Finally, got a victory over his rivals in Sanilac County 2 weeks ago at his place. 5-0 on the 2024 campaign. Defense force 2 turnovers in that contest. They capitalize on 2 BC turnovers for TD’s. Key stat to talk about in that contest. Turning point in that game on the road. Steal games & wins on the road in any sport you do out there anyways. Hunter has been the QB in his 3 years on Varsity for the Deckerville Eagles. Follow his Dad’s suit at the QB position. Chris played on 3 League Championship Titles in his playing days on Varsity 1995-97. 1998 Deckerville HS Graduated. Never won a playoff in his playing career. His Son Hunter did instead. Won 3 playoff games in his 2 years on Varsity. Remember that Regional Championship Title they won on the road in Portland. Never forget about that one. Amazing Football Town Deckerville Has Out There Anyways. 4 TD runs in that win over BC on the road. Including the GW TD run with 1:20 left in the contest. Leave BC with a victory at their house.
