2024 Deckerville Eagles Football Team had a special season to remember for a long time coming. They returned a lot of good talent from the 2023 squad. Set team goals for this unit. Got the job done right in 2024 instead. These fine individuals won so many awards in 2024 for the Deckerville Eagles Football Team. Set good examples for this small community.

Those are the Trophies they won in 2024. Credit Head Coach Bill Brown & his coaching staff & the players buy into his system. Did amazing stuff for this small community. Got to see them win their Semifinal Game at home against the Mendon Hornets on November 16th. State Championship Game at the Superior Dome in Marquette Northern Michigan University.

Brown City Green Devils in Week 4 of the regular season at Brown City HS.
Lincoln Alcona in Week 9 of the regular season at Deckerville HS.
Bay City All Saints Cougars in the 1st Rd of the playoffs at Deckerville HS.
Pickford Panthers in the State Championship Game at the Superior Dome in Marquette.
Pickford Panthers was my favorite one indeed. QB Hunter Garza hit RB Brandon Salowitz for the GW TD reception with over 11 minutes of that contest. Special one indeed on 4th & 15. Aggressive play call. Executed that one to perfection. Got out of Marquette with a State Championship Trophy back home to Deckerville HS in 2024.
Ran the John Elway version in the 1986 AFC Championship Game in Cleveland. Pickford punted the Football back to Deckerville. Pinned them inside the one yard line. Ran the clock out to perfection against the Pickford Panthers in the biggest game of the season. All run plays. On 4th & 6 late in the contest. Deckerville needed one 1st down to close the game out. Hunter Garza got the 1st down on that 4th & 6 play late in the State Championship Game. Seal the deal for Bill Brown’s 2nd State Championship Title in his amazing Head Coaching career in Deckerville. Jeremy Burgess called that one right. Who will score 30 points in the Division 1 8-Player State Championship Game on November 23rd. Deckerville was the 1st one to do it. Got it done to perfection. Fun bus ride home from Marquette to Deckerville on Saturday Night at 9:30 PM. Travel 6 1/2 hours to Marquette. Special memories to talk about.
Missed a good core of talent in the Class of 2025 for the Deckerville Eagles to graduation in May……. They were a good core of them anyways……. Impressive stuff indeed for the 2024 Deckerville Eagles Football Team……… Ones to talk about in the near future years ahead……..
