His Junior he won the Cass City Red Hawks Football Game in Week 2 of the season at Jack Dillon Fieldhouse in Harbor Beach. Script Sack Fumble Recovered That One. Setup the GW TD run. Get a 26-14 win at home. I remember that contest. Big play they needed out there anyways. TD reception against the Ubly Bearcats in the Division 8 District Championship Game at Jerry Herp Field in Ubly HS. November 3rd, 2023. In a 35-14 lost on the road. They went on to be Division 8 State Champions on November 25th, 2023 at Ford Field in Detroit. Finish the 2023 campaign at 9-2 overall record.
Senior Season. Team goal is to beat the 2023 Division 8 State Champions Ubly Bearcats at Jack Dillon Fieldhouse in Harbor Beach. Troy Schelke got his 200th career win as Head Coach on September 13th, 2024. Get a 45-8 win over the Defending State Champions in front of your home crowd on hand. Won the 2024 Big Thumb Conference Black Division Title. Division 8 District Champions. Beat the Clarkston Collegiate Everest Mountaineers at their place on November 15th, 2024. Lose to the Fowler Eagles 26-7 in the Regional Championship Game at Fowler HS on November 16th, 2024. Football career is done. Went 11-1 on the 2024 campaign. Finally beat Ubly once again. Did it twice in 2024.
Junior Season In Basketball. Won the GTCE Division Title outright. Beat the Cass City Red Hawks in the regular season at home. Lose to them in the District Championship Game at the buzzer at home. Dustin had a nice game against the Cass City Hawks at home in the regular season. Cass City had a good team a year ago.
Senior Season In Basketball. Won the Big Thumb Conference Black Division Title. Division 3 District Champions. Go to the Division 3 Regional Championship Game at Millington HS. Lose to the Flint New Standard Warriors in the Regional Championship Game on Thursday Night 64-56. Beat the Cass City Red Hawks 55-49 in the Division 3 District Semifinal Game at Lakers HS. Beat the host EPB Lakers 61-52 in the District Championship Game last week.
RB Hassan Haskins scored 5 TD runs against the Ohio State Buckeyes 42-27 at The Big House in Ann Arbor. November 27th, 2021. Cold snowy day to see the Maize & Blue get a upset win over the Scarlet & Gray at home. Thanksgiving Weekend. Hassan tied the school record with 5 TD runs in a game which was set by Ronald Johnson in 1968 against the Wisconsin Badgers in the mud bowl game in Ann Arbor.
RB Donovan (The Don) Edwards stepped right on up for the injured Blake Corum on November 26th, 2022 at the Horseshoe in Columbus. 75 & 85 yard TD run in the 4th Quarter against the Ohio State Buckeyes on the road in a tough hostile environment on Thanksgiving Weekend. 45-23 win over the Scarlet & Gray.
RB Blake (The Great) Corum scored a TD run for his best friend OG Zak Zinter in the 3rd Quarter. November 25th, 2023 at The Big House in Ann Arbor. Zak suffered a season ending injury in the 3rd Quarter. Blake will do it for Zak did that one. Rod Moore’s INT to close the game out. Get a 30-24 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Thanksgiving Weekend.
Beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 110th Rose Bowl Game on New Years Day in Pasadena, CA. Stuff Jalen Milroe on the QB draw up the middle on the final play of the game in OT. Beat them again on New Years Eve at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. Get a 19-13 win in the ReliaQuest Bowl Game.
Be National Champions on January 8th, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Get a 34-13 win over the Washington Huskies. End Jim Harbaugh Head Coaching career on a high note with a “W” in the column. Now, the Head Coach for the Los Angeles Chargers Football Team in the NFL. Finish the 2023-24 campaign with a 15-0 overall record.
Beat the reigning National Champions Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team on November 30th, 2024 at the Horseshoe in Columbus. 13-10 upset win over the Scarlet & Gray on the road. Thanksgiving Weekend. Finish the 2024 campaign with a 8-5 overall record.
Likes what the Detroit Lions Football Team has done in the last 3 years under Head Coach Dan Campbell. Good hire they made out there in 2021. Dan has done good work with that organization. Went to the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers on January 28th, 2024 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Had the lead over the 49ers in the 1st half. Lose the lead & lost the game in the 2nd half 34-31. Lose to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Divisional Playoff Game on January 18th, 2025 at Ford Field in Detroit. 45-31 lost to the Commanders at home.
