Skiler Kruse was unbelievable in the Division 8 State Championship Game on Friday at Ford Field in Detroit. Get a 31-20 win over the Hudson Tigers. Final HS Football Game for the Class of 2026 at Harbor Beach HS. 13 of them ended their careers as a State Champion. 2nd State Championship Title in School History. Class of 2026 was a special bunch of them. Dedicated bunch of fine individuals in the program. School record 14 wins in 2025. Previous record was 13 wins which was set in 2012. Reach their team goals they reached going into the 2025 campaign. This was the year to do it. They did it anyways.
Skiler counted for 19 points out of the 31 they scored on Friday in Downtown Detroit. Over 61% of Skiler scored for Head Coach Troy Schelke. Send a good statement to everyone else in the program. It is a honor & privilege to play & wear the orange, black & white uniform. He is a good athlete. Plays Basketball & Baseball also too. Coachable guy to have in the program. Good student of the game & even better in the classroom. Classroom is most important one. Sports goes 2nd. Dedicated individual athlete to have around. Smart guy as well too. Skiler is on a special core of them in the Class of 2026. Troy is proud of what he has done.

He had a fumble recovery in the 1st Quarter. Setup QB Caden Bucholtz to TE Matt Geiger for a TD to take a 14-0 lead in the 1st Quarter. DC Ron Wruble put in a good game plan on Hudson Tigers Offense in practice this past week. They executed that one to perfection. Hudson was averaging over 47 points a game on the season. Sending a good statement for the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team. DE on Defense for this unit. Born god gifted athlete. Loves sports a lot. His parents are proud of his work ethic & dedication to the program. Amazing feeling indeed. Harbor Beach Is A Football & Title Town. Fun ride home from Detroit to Harbor Beach on Friday.
