Lukas Franzel took his Golf game to another level in 2024. Hit his peak at the right of his career for the Sandusky Wolves Boys Golf Team. Save that one for last this season. Works hard on his game year round. Loves to play this sport the most. Made his opportunity count for himself & for Head Coach John Guttowsky in 2024. Played on the last 2 GTCE Division Titles. Didn’t play on the 1st 2 as a Freshman & Sophomore. Played on Varsity as a Junior in 2023. Shot an 82 in the Division 3 Regionals at Verona Hills Golf Course in Bad Axe last week. It was his last meet of his career & for Head Coach John Guttowsky as well too. John is now retired as Head Coach for the Sandusky Wolves Golf Team for good. Went back on his 2nd stint in the last 4 years. Takes pride, determination, confidence & success on the Golf Course. Been their most improved player in the last 2 years. Graduated already now at Sandusky HS 3 weeks ago in the Class of 2024. Go to Central Michigan University this coming fall in Mt. Plesant. Major in Financing. Likes the Michigan Wolverines Football Team. Saw them win the College Football Playoff National Championship Title on January 8th, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Beat the Washington Huskies 34-13. Best win was against the Alabama Crimson Tide on New Years Day in Pasadena, CA. 110th Rose Bowl Game. Get a 27-20 OT win. Went 15-0 on the season. 3-peat as B1G Conference Football Champions. Beat the Ohio State Buckeyes 3 years in a row. See, RB Hassan Haskins went off against the Ohio State Buckeyes on November 27th, 2021 at The Big House in Ann Arbor. Had 5 TD runs in a 42-27 win at home. Tied a school record with 5 TD runs in that contest. Played Football for Head Coach Craig Jacobson for 3 years on Varsity also too. Went to the Division 7 Playoff Game this past year. Went 6-4 on the 2023 campaign. Lots of good athletes in the Class of 2024 at Sandusky HS. Good group of them anyways.
