Ritchie Feys is one of the best DC in the Whole Thumb Area for the Almont Raiders Football Team. Had good success with Head Coach Jeremy Ferman in 2011-14. Best Defensive Team he ever had was in 2014 with Mike Couch at LB. That Defense was unreal that season. Lansing Catholic put a season high on Almont’s Good Defense with 21 points they put up on them in the Division 5 Semifinals at Brighton HS. Lansing Catholic scored 21 points in the 2nd Half. Won 2 BWAC Conference Titles in 2014 & 2018. Played High School Football at Almont HS. Played for the Hall of Fame Head Coach Gary Carson in 1985-87. Standout RB/DB during his career. Tom Abraham was a good DC also too. Went to Alma College & played College Football in a Division 3 School. Got his Degree in PE. Now he is the Gym Teacher at Almont HS. Been there for a while now. One of the nicest guys you will ever get to talk to these days of ages. DC at Imlay City in 2004-10. Went back to Almont in 2011-present. Won Assistant Coach of the Year Award in 2018. They present the honor at the Basketball Game this past season. James Leusby is glad to have him on the squad now as DC. Players love playing for Ritchie Feys. Knows his Defense very well. 4-4 Stack Defense for the Almont Raiders Football Team has worked very well for them. Ritchie knows what he is doing anyways. Coached Baseball & Softball also too. Refs Basketball Games as well too. All 4 of Ritchie’s kids have Graduated at Almont HS already now. His wife Liz Graduated at North Branch HS in 1988. He is a good guy to have on your coaching staff anyways in Football. They will have a good Defense again in 2019 for the Almont Raiders Football Team. Defense Wins Games & Championships….
