Tyler Johnson is a good 3-sport standout for the Cros-Lex Pioneers in the 2021 Class. Cover his Tennis match on Monday Night against the Sandusky Redskins at Cros-Lex HS. Also plays Basketball. Which is his favorite one to play for sure. Played on the Division 2 District Championship Squad in 2019. Went on to beat the Almont Raiders on there home floor. He is playing AAU Basketball for Oakland Elite in Oakland County. Does that one on Saturday & Sunday. They will have a good Varsity Team in the 2019-20 campaign for Head Coach Lance Campbell. Played on the Division 2 District Championship Team in Baseball for Head Coach Brett Vaughn. Went to the Division 2 Regionals at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep HS. Lost to the Division 2 State Champions Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Eaglets 8-6. Tyler plays Shortstop & Pitches. Good Switch Hitter. Went to the Baseball Showcase at Reese HS a couple of weeks ago. Did very well there. Also has a Basketball Scholarship Coming as well too. His Dad took Tyler out golfing. He is good at that one too. He was a very young kid. Sports has been Tyler’s thing growing up. Has a good heart to doing it & also loves to compete with the best of them. Not scared to play any sport at all. Big Michigan Wolverines Sports Fan. He is a good student in school. Well liked by the 2021 class at Cros-Lex HS. Has good grades in school too. Got a good passion about doing everything right at all times. Has a good desire to do it no matter what & being smart about too. Do it the right way in the classroom & on the playing court & off the play court or field. Having a good desire of that one indeed.
