Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team kept on going for it more on Black Friday in the Atlantis 4 Championship Game against another undefeated squad in College Basketball Gonzaga Bulldogs in Puerto Rico. Zavier Simpson & Jon Teske lead the way for the Maize & Blue in this game on Black Friday. Both of them had Double Double in this game for 1st Year Head Coach Juwan Howard. John Beilein started the player development for Zavier Simpson & Jon Teske in the last 2 years. Juwan kept on going for more with both of them. Becoming good leaders on this squad this year. There 7-0 on the campaign. Isaiah Livers was solid in the victory. Becoming a good all-around player for Juwan Howard. Development on Isaiah has gone a long ways for him. Becoming a good player now in Ann Arbor. Mr. Basketball out of High School in Kalamazoo Central in Kalamazoo, MI in the 2017 Class. Took the Kalamazoo Central Boys Basketball Team to the Class A State Championship Game at The Breslin Center in East Lansing, MI in his Senior Year in High School. Decided to be a Michigan Wolverine in the 2017 Class. Brandon Johns & Colin Castleton gave Juwan Howard a good spark off the bench for the Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team. Eli Brooks was solid in the North Carolina Tar Heels Game on Thanksgiving Day & didn’t score a lot on Black Friday against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Isaiah Livers & Jon Teske guide the spark in the Championship Game for the Maize & Blue. David DeJulius made 3 3-pointers in the victory on Black Friday. Played a good role in the win. Franz Wagner was brilliant as a True Freshman in this game. 10 points & gave them a good spark. Brother of another former Michigan Wolverine Standout Moritz Wagner. Franz is going to get stronger in the future. From Germany. Michigan beat 3 good teams in the Atlantis 4 Basketball Tournament this week. Iowa State on Wednesday, North Carolina on Thanksgiving Day, & Gonzaga on Black Friday. Juwan is happy with the 3 day tournament. Iowa State, North Carolina, & Gonzaga will be in the 2020 NCAA Tournament in March. Juwan Howard isn’t satisfied at all. Work needs to be done yet for the Maize & Blue going forward to the season still in Ann Arbor. Lots of games need to be played yet still. 7-0 on the season. Tough road ahead of us. You like to play a tough schedule in the 2019-20 season. It will help you go a long ways away in the NCAA Basketball Tournament in March.
