Brynn Polega was unbelievable in her last game in a USA Patriots Softball Uniform on Saturday in the Division 4 State Championship Game at MSU in East Lansing. Broke the MHSAA State Championship Game Record for most Strikeouts in a game. Had 19 of them new MHSAA State Championship Game record already now. Broke Keri DeJong from Kalamazoo Christian & Jackie Bowe from Galesburg-Augusta both of them had 18 Strikeouts in a MHSAA State Championship Game. Remarkable career ended in the right way for Brynn Polega for the USA Patriots Softball Team & Program. Fun player to watch & also to talk to as well. Softball is her favorite sport to play while she was a little child. Worked at that sport very hard year round. Been her passion. Going to play College Softball for the Northwood University in Midland, Michigan next season. Disappointed not to play a year ago because of the COVID-19 started on March 9th, 2020. Finally got her chance to play for her Senior Year instead. Enjoy watching her & covering her games in the 3 years. Good hitter as well too. Good day hitting against the Rudyard Bulldogs in that one too. 2 for 4 on the day. Making her mark & Legacy in that one for the USA Patriots Softball Team & Program. Head Coach Isaiah Gainforth going to miss Brynn Polega playing for good. Coachable Girl. Listen to details & do what Isaiah wants you to do out there. She does that one very well. Seeing good results in the winning column. Go about your business at all times. Finish the season at 40-3 overall record in 2021 campaign. Won 35 straight games to close the season out the right way. Had 16 strikeouts in the Division 4 State Championship Game in 2019 as a Sophomore against the No. 2 Team in the State of Michigan Kalamazoo Christian Comets in a 3-1 victory. Part of that Triple Play to closed the game as well too. Deflected off Brynn’s foreman right to Rylee Zimmer’s for the catch & touch 2nd Base & throw to 1st Base to end the game the way. No. 1 Play on Sportscenter on ESPN that night before Father’s Day. Unreal indeed. Brynn remember that one for a long time coming. Incredible feeling she couldn’t believe as well. Will remember that one for a long time coming. Isaiah Gainforth has been a Fan of her for a long time now. Over 300 strikeouts in 2021. Bunch of Double Digits Strikeout Games in her 27 starts. Good Strikeout Pitcher. Way to end your career in the right way for a State Championship Title. Brynn will a USA Patriot for the rest of her life.
