Zach Plesac was solid on the mound for the Cleveland Indians on Friday Night at Comerica Park in Detroit. Got the victory also too. 7-4 on the season now. Manager Terry Francona is sitting out for the rest of the season now due to his health issues he is dealing with now. He is resting up now. Made things interesting for this Ball Club in a 7-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers to start out the series in this one. Own that team in the last 5+years. Did it once again on Friday Night.
Ernie Clement led the way in the hitting department for the Cleveland Indians in the win in Detroit on Friday Night. Hit 2 Solo Home Runs in that game. 1st was to RF in the 3rd inning with 2 outs batting in the 9th spot. The other was to CF later on in the game. Found pitches to hit off Tyler Alexander in that one instead. Tyler was unbelievable Last Saturday Night at Progressive Field in Cleveland in a 2-1 lost at home. This wasn’t going to happen again on Friday Night. Figure Tyler out nicely indeed. Take what they get you to pitch. Execute that one & they did that one nicely. Got the job done no matter what. Terry Francona not there now with Health issues he is dealing with now. Resting up now. Happy to see Ernie Clement & other ones help him nicely indeed. Had a good season hitting against the Detroit Tigers. Batting over .500 in 2021. 25 years old right now. Made nice progress also too.
Detroit Tigers are still playing good Baseball in the last 3 months of the 2021 campaign. Cleveland is in 3rd Place right now in the American League Central Division. Still got to take care of business no matter what……..
