Maze Gusa took 3rd Place at the Hatchet Invitational on 9/11 at the Huron County Fairgrounds in Bad Axe. Defending State Runner-Up in Division 4 a year ago as a Sophomore for the Ubly Bearcats Girls Cross Country Team for Head Coach Garrett Jurges. Dealing with a injury now. Doing very well with that one. She is a tough individual overall. Hard working individual also too. Overcoming that injury helps out a lot also too. Dedicated Runner Overall. Smart one too. Good mindset of that one. Wants to be there to the end. She is a good competitor & wants to help out the other ones to succeed. She impressed at other meets I went to in the last 2 years. True Winner Overall. Garrett Jurges has been a fan of her since Day 1 arrived for Maze Gusa in 2019 as a Freshman for the Ubly Bearcats Girls Cross Country Team & Program. Mindset of that one too. Does very well in the classroom & also in sports. Gotta have the grades to participate in sports & compete as well too. Maze has the grades anyways. Does it in dignity & class. Go for it all now. Impressive things to say about Maze Gusa on the Ubly Bearcats Girls Cross Country Team & Program in her Junior Year now at Ubly HS.
