Head Coach James Minard has done a good job with the Sandusky Wolves Varsity Baseball Team in his 2nd year at the helm. Took over for Ryan Pritchett’s position in 2022. Guide them to be GTCE Division Champions in 2022. Go to the Division 3 District Championship Game. Lose to the Bad Axe Hatchets at Turmell Field in Bad Axe HS. They lost 4 players off the squad to graduation a year ago. They have a good core that came back a year ago. Got some good newcomers on the squad in 2023. Played Head Coach Barry Ziehm in 1993-95. 1995 Sandusky HS Graduated. On the 1994 squad that was better then the 1995 squad. Share the TCC Title with the Reese Rockets & Mayville Wildcats. Class C District Champions & got a Class C Regional Semifinal Win over the Reese Rockets at Marlette HS. Got upset by the Memphis Yellowjackets in the Class C Regional Championship Game. Hot day to play. Had a really good mixed of the 1994 & 1995 bunch that season. Ryan Pritchett started that program up 1st. James kept that one going for more to yet still. His Cousin Mike Stoliker helping out the Varsity right now. Both work very well together as a team. Won Back 2 Back 19 Wins. 4-0 right now. Beat USA on Monday Night & Lakers on Thursday Night. Not satisfied at all period……. More to work needs to be done yet. Keep on going for more to play for yet. Haven’t play outside until Monday & Thursday Night. Did very well in both of those nights. Players bought into James system right now in Sandusky. Caleb is Graduating next month at Sandusky HS. Don’t want that program mess up anyways. Keep that one coming for more to come yet now. Good ones coming up in the future years ahead of them in Sandusky. Got the Foundation back to where they wanna be at now……..
