Nathan Fritz doing a good job as Head Coach for the 2023 Cass City Red Hawks Softball Team. Took over that position this off-season. Replace John Hacker’s position very well. Girls respond to Nathan very well. Knows what he is talking about Softball. Good mindset of the game. Knows his stuff very well. See that one on display now. 1999 Cass City HS Graduate. JV Head Coach for a while. Knows those girls while playing in Little League. Seeing them put it all together in one piece of the puzzle. Mindset has been impressive what I saw on Monday Night against the USA Patriots at USA HS. Lost both games in GTCW Division Action. 2nd place in the GTCW Division right now. Still my team to beat in the Division 3 Districts this year at Caro HS. Good core of athletes at Cass City HS. Foundation is there in place for this program. Board of Education made a good hire on him. AD Brett Ross recommended Nathan Fritz for this Varsity position. Best thing they did. They wanted Nathan for this spot. Got it in time for this unit to take it to another level. Playing a tough schedule. Doing good on playing a tough schedule. Seeing good results. See them make a good run in the Division 3 State Tournament in 2023. Lost to the Division 3 State Champions in the Regional Championship Game at Montrose HS in 2022. Had them beat & lost the game. Good bunch of individuals on the squad they got now in store. Dedicated bunch of ladies. Work as a team. Go from there on out. Impressive stuff I have liked from Nathan Fritz. Well liked by the Cass City Community. Keep that one coming for more years to go in the future years……..
