Mayville Wildcats ⚾ Team 2024 NCTL Champions. Head Coach Travis Harbin has build that one up once again. Took over in 2019. Bringing back the winning culture once again now. Beat the Peck Pirates on Thursday Night at Peck HS. Sweep the DH. Close it out the right way. Bring back the Curt Henderson & Aaron McCormack days. Both of them were great Head Coaches in the past years for the Mayville Wildcats ⚾ Team. Travis had Curt Henderson as a Teacher in school. Had Aaron McCormack as a teacher & coach. Played for Aaron McCormack in his playing days. Learned a lot of good things from Eric & Scott Frenzel in ⚾. Played 🥎 with the Frenzel’s in the past years. Dave Frenzel lived South of the Mayville Community Schools. Travis graduated in 2006 at Mayville HS. Moved back home after College. Travis knows ⚾ very well. Knows the culture very well for Mayville Wildcats ⚾ Tradition. Last time they won the League ⚾ Title was in 2013. Won it in 2007 & 2008 in the GTCE Division. Travis Harbin went to school with that 2007, 2008, & 2009 class at Mayville HS. Good 3 years Aaron McCormack had out there anyways. They are 16-3 on the 2024 campaign. Mayville loves their ⚾. America’s Best Sport. Lose 3 players off the 2024 squad. They already graduated in the Class of 2024 at Mayville HS. Catcher, 1st & 3rd Baseman’s. The whole OF is back next year. SS & 2nd Baseman are also back too. 2 SS’s on the roster pitch also too. Good group of players Travis Harbin has in store now. Congratulations on finishing out the NCTL Title outright in 2024. Big Thumb Conference starting in 2 more months from now. Celebrate this one tonight. Back 2 work on Friday & on Memorial Day also too. Prepare for the Bay City All Saints Cougars matchup. They are going to be in that Division 4 Districts at their place as well too. Not satisfied at all period. Continue to improve on stuff going forward to postseason action arrives on time.
