2024 Cros-Lex Pioneers Softball Team took nice strides. Played the Richmond Blue Devils tough in both games in BWAC play at home. Lose 12-2 in the 1st game & 6-3 in the 2nd game. 1st got away from them in the 2 innings. Stayed in that contest. Lose Riley Robertson off the team. She graduated a few weeks ago. Got some good young players in the program now. Richmond is going to be loaded in Division 2. Won the BWAC Title. Good shot in the Division 2 Districts this weekend. Cut down the errors & get timing hits & score enough runs. They do that one right they can sneak up & win the 2024 Division 2 Districts. Yale Bulldogs took really good strides in 2024. Really good Head Coach in Mike McCormick. Saw them against the Richmond Blue Devils last week at Richmond HS. Lose 4-0 in the 1st game in BWAC action. Imlay City Spartans is no slouch at all. North Branch Broncos lost a lot of good talent a year ago. Still who they are. Play Cros-Lex Pioneers Softball & go from there on out. Hard working bunch of them they have now in store. Things to clean up in practice on Thursday. Not satisfied at all. Play our game & go from there on out. Focus on what they need to do out there. Do it in a right matter & way. Finish last in the BWAC in 2024. Won 2 games. Beat the Brown City Green Devils in non-conference action. They will be loaded in Division 4. Won the GTCE Division Title in 2024. Scott Young & his crew need to be ready to go on time. Play Ball…… Postseason is where it is & make your opportunities count at all-times. Lose one time you are done…….. Hope it doesn’t matter……
