Isaiah “Zeke” Helton was a good Baseball player for the Kingston Cardinals for Head Coach Mike Schmidt. Really good pitcher & throws really hard out there. Couple of decent Secondary pitches in the resume as well too. Plays SS/1st Base on the roster. Good hitter as well too. Just a good all-around player to have out there anyways. His Dad Scott was a good helper in the program. Played for the Hall of Fame Head Coach Curt Henderson. Learn from the best of them. Enjoy watching him play & cover his games in 2024. Beat the Brown City Green Devils in the Division 4 Semifinal Game at Marlette HS on Friday. Get a 2-0 win. Wasn’t a full go in the District Championship Game against the Marlette Red Raiders. Lose 17-5 against the host team in that District Championship Game. Don’t have the support Isaiah didn’t have against Marlette. Marlette won the 2024 Division 4 District Championship Title on their home field on Friday. Gotta 5 or more good pitchers on the roster in any level of Baseball you play out there anyways. Isaiah loves Baseball the most. Going to miss covering his games. Maybe see him somewhere else in the future years ahead. Been a pleasure to cover his game & meet with him. Very nice guy overall. Lost 3-2 against the Mayville Wildcats in the 1st game of the DH at Mayville HS. His parents are from Mayville. Graduated in Mayville HS. Does like the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team. Up & coming MLB team for sure……..
