Greg Welke did a really good job with the Brown City Green Devils Baseball Team as Head Coach in 2024. Losing a lot of good talent off the roster in 2022. 2023 won the Division 4 District Title. Kept them ahead of schedule all season long. Losing to the Kingston Cardinals in the 2024 Division 4 District Semifinal Game in Marlette 2-0 12 days ago. Players like Greg style of Baseball he brings to the table. Knows what he is talking about. They respond to his system he brings in now. One of the best Head Coaches in the Thumb Area. Greg reminds me of Ron Gardenhire from the Minnesota Twins in 2002-14 in Minneapolis & Detroit Tigers in 2018-20 as MLB Manager for both Ball Clubs. He was a very good MLB Manager himself. Kept them ahead of schedule. Likes the New York Yankees. They are doing very well in 2024 so far. Aaron Judge American League MVP Candidate. Favorite MLB Team…….
