Likes the Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team has done this past year. Head Coach Dusty May was a good hire they made out there. Won 27 games on the schedule this season. No one had them winning 27 games at all. They did that one anyways. Won the 2025 B1G Conference Basketball Tournament. Go to the Sweet 16 Appearance. Lose to the Auburn Tigers at State Farm Arena in Atlanta in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Dusty is a very good College Basketball Head Coach for the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor. Detroit Tigers have done amazing work as well too. Went 31-11 since August 10th, 2024. Phenomenal final 3 months of the 2024 campaign to talk about for a long time coming. Played winning Baseball at the right time of the season. Did good damage in the postseason. Sweep the Houston Astros in the American League Wild Card Playoff Series at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Go 5 games in the ALDS against the Cleveland Guardians. Lose on October 12th at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
Carried that momentum to the 2025 campaign. Go 19-12 in the Month of April. Avoid that sweep against the Houston Astros on Wednesday at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Get a 7-4 win over the Astros. Way to end the month of April with a W in the column. Houston has a good team once again. They are no slouch at all. Had leads on the Astros on Monday & Tuesday Night. Lost the lead in both games. Javy Baez GS HR in the 3rd inning on Wednesday take a 7-1 lead. Final score was 7-4. Now, off to the Los Angeles Angels in a 4-game series over the weekend in Anaheim. Starting on Thursday Night at 9 PM. 10-game road trip. Had a good home trip against the Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres, & Baltimore Orioles. Went 8-2 at Comerica Park in Detroit. Sweep the O’s over the weekend.
AJ Hinch is the best MLB Manager. Done a good job with the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team in his 5th year at the helm. Good hire by GM Al Avila made on October 30th, 2020 at Comerica Park in Detroit. I did like the Ron Gardenhire hire as Manager also too. MLB Draft Picks have been unbelievable 2018-present. A lot of them are on the Ball Club right now. Producing very well for the Old English D.
