Team on Wednesday Night at Comerica Park in Detroit. Proved to be the difference in the “W” column. Comeback victory on Tuesday Night 4-3 win. Will Vest started the game on the mound & went 1 inning. Daniel Norris went 2 innings & got the “W”. Bullpen did a good job in the last 8 innings of the game. Andrew Chafin got the job in the 7th inning. Kept the Kansas City Royals on the base. Really good at inherited runners on the base. Win 7 of 8 games lately. Took 5 of 6 in the road series against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards took 2 of 3 in that one. Follow that one up with a sweep over the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago over the weekend. Took 2 at Comerica Park against the Kansas City Royals this week. Miguel Cabrera pass Carl Yastrzemski for 12th all-time in MLB RBI’s with that 2-run shot to LF in the 1st inning. Also his 507th career MLB Home Run also too. One more left on his contract for the Detroit Tigers Team. Retire after the 2023 campaign is over. Remarkable career for the Miami Marlins in 2003-07 & Detroit Tigers in 2008-present. 2-1 Tigers Win. Congratulations on Miguel Cabrera on that one too….. 1st Ballot in the Hall of Fame in the upcoming years ahead of Miggy for Cooperstown…
