Westley Chapin is a good Football, Wrestling, & Baseball player for the Marlette Red Raiders in the Class of 2025. Saw him play Baseball a year ago as a Sophomore on Varsity. He can hit the Baseball with the best of them. Really good speed as well too. Plays CF on the roster. Head Coach Dave Hayden was on hand to see him wrestle on Wednesday Night at Marlette HS. Won his match against Cass City. Tracy Bennett is glad to see him shine in this stage. Loves play Football for Head Coach Denny Lester. Had a nice 2023 season. Went 6-4 on the campaign. Lose to the Eventual Division 8 State Champions Ubly Bearcats at home. Twice to the Harbor Beach Pirates on the road. Junior at Marlette HS right now. Athletic person to have in the program. Wrestling help Westley out in Football in 2024. Dedicated at his sport. Wrestling is good for Football. Help out his tackling skills & other ones as well too. You can’t speed at all period. You haven’t or you don’t. Westley has impressive speed in all 3 sports. Denny Lester, Dave Hayden, & Tracy Bennett love have Westley on all of his teams in all 3 sports. Competitor in all of them. Shine on the Baseball Diamond in 2024. Him & Aaron Bower will lead the way for this improve squad in 2024 for the Marlette Red Raiders Baseball Team……. Go to class & get good grades in school & translate that one to the Wrestling Mats, Baseball & Football Fields. Hard working individual & good student of the game & also in the classroom.
