Bill Barkowska played for the Legendary HS Baseball Head Coach Curt Henderson for the Mayville Wildcats. 1991 Mayville HS Graduated. Came back after he Graduated from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant. Help out the 1996 Mayville Wildcats Baseball Team. Be around with Chad Brant, Travis Plain, Joe Fisher, & company. Good core of guys to work with. Played with Todd Helton in HS. Worked together with Travel Baseball. Went to school with Eric & Scott Frenzel. They graduated in 1989 & 1993 at Mayville HS respectively. So did Todd Helton as well too. 2 best pitchers Curt Henderson ever had in his amazing career as a HS Baseball Head Coach. Bill is the Jr. High Principal at North Branch right now. Helps out the North Branch Broncos Baseball Program as well too. Good team right now in NB. Good talent on display. His Son plays on Varsity. Senior right now. Graduates this month at NB HS in the Class of 2024. Baseball is Bill’s favorite sport.
Todd Helton helps out the 2024 Kingston Cardinals Varsity Baseball Team. Played for the Legendary Head Coach Curt Henderson for the Mayville Wildcats Baseball Team. 1992 Mayville HS Graduated. Went to school with Bill Barkowska. Really good friends in HS. Did Travel Baseball together as coaches. Saw his Son Isaiah “Zeke” Helton pitch last week against the Peck Pirates at Kingston HS. Get a 10-0 win over their rivals Peck at home in the 1st game of the DH. Zeke throws really hard. Won in 5 innings. Good runs support also too. Shutout Peck. Curt is proud of what Todd is doing as an Assistant Coach. Played alongside with Scott Frenzel, Jeremy Plain, & other ones too. Scott & Jeremy Graduated in 1993 at Mayville HS. Year younger than Todd was.
