Gerrit Cole was the No. 1 overall pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2013 MLB Draft. Played his College Baseball for the UCLA Bruins in Los Angeles. Trade Gerrit to the Houston Astros. After the 2019 campaign was over go to the New York Yankees in the Bronx 2020-present. Had a good 2023 campaign for Manager Bret Boone.
Paul Skenes was the No. 1 overall pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2023 MLB Draft. Played his College Baseball for the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. Guided them to win the 2023 College World Series National Championship Title in Omaha, Nebraska. Made the MLB journey in 2024 by this organization he is on now. Doing very well as a MLB Rookie on the mound.
