Won both games against the San Diego State Aztecs on Monday Night 94-54 & Auburn Tigers 102-72 on Tuesday Night. Good business trip for this crew. Fly back to home Ann Arbor on a happy note. They are a Top 8 College Basketball Team in the nation.
Dusty May is a program builder. What he did with the Florida Atlantic Owls as HC 2018-24. Took them to their 1st ever Final Four appearance in School History. Lose to the San Diego State Aztecs at the buzzer in the 2023 Final Four game at NRG Stadium in Houston. Fixing a lot of Juwan Howard’s mistakes he made out there in the last 3 years. Dusty build it up in year one. No one had them winning 27 games a year ago. Winning the 2025 B1G Conference Tournament in Indianapolis. Go to the 2025 NCAA Tournament & play in the Sweet 16 as well too. Proved all of the College Basketball expert wrong about the Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team a year ago.
I did like the hire of Dusty May on March 27th, 2024 at Schembechler Hall in Ann Arbor. Great hire by AD Warde Manual made out there anyways. Best thing that happened to this program. Dusty May is the next John Beilein version for the Maize & Blue. John Beilein is the all-time winningest Head Coach in School History 2007-19. Pack up the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor once again.
Got revenge from the lost to the Auburn Tigers in the Sweet 16 matchup at State Farm Arena in Atlanta this past March. Get a victory over the Auburn Tigers on Tuesday Night 102-72 in Las Vegas. Michigan is a Top 8 College Basketball team in the nation this season. Build on that momentum winning the 2025 B1G Conference Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis. Play in the NCAA Tournament & in the Sweet 16 appearance. Took that one to the off-season & now onto the season right now. They are 6-0 right now. B1G Conference Basketball is loaded indeed.
