John Kocher has done a remarkable job as Head Coach of the Richmond Blue Devils Football Team & Program from 2010-present. Did 2 years of rebuilding in 2010 & 2011. Took off in 2012. Went to the MHSAA Football Playoffs from 2012-present. Won 3 BWAC Conference Titles in 2013, 2015, & 2016. 2 Division 4 District Titles in 2014 & 2015. He is building a good program & foundation already now. He was Head Coach at Clintondale also too. Took them to the Playoffs during that time as Head Coach. Knows what he is doing out there. Seeing them doing there thing on Friday Night against a good North Branch Broncos Squad at home in a 14-7 victory. Battle Cancer he had in 2015. They did Kocher Strong during the Almont Raiders Game at home in Week 5 of the 2015 High School Season. Lost the game 30-29 in 2OT. He has overcome that one. He is tough guy. Hard working guy. Loves to compete with the best of them. Overcome Cancer. Wants to be there for this guys on the Richmond Blue Devils Football Team. Gym Teacher also too. Football is John Kocher’s passion he loves to Coach. Knows what he is doing as a Head Coach in Football. Loves to developed those guys to be special players for the Richmond Blue Devils Football Team & Program. Doing a very good job with that Department. Former Head Coaches Glenn Nuss & Kevin McKiernan has liked what John Kocher has done with the Football Program for the Richmond Blue Devils. He is a program builder. Good guy out there too. Big BWAC Conference Championship Game On Friday Night Coming Up At Richmond HS Against The Defending Champions The Almont Raiders Come To Town In This Showdown. Not going to be a easy one at all. Richmond is 6-0 on the 2019 season. Almont is the best team there face up against in this game at home. Big crowd will be on hand as well too.
