Casey Sweeney had a good 2019 Ubly Bearcats Football Team at QB on Offense for his Dad Bill as Head Coach. On November 9th, 2019 Ubly Bearcats went on the road to beat the undefeated Harbor Beach Pirates at Jack Dillon Fieldhouse in Harbor Beach in the Division 8 District Championship Game. Harbor Beach is a very tough hostile environment to play at. Didn’t bother the Ubly Bearcats Football Team at all in that Division 8 District Championship Game. Put up 34 points in the victory on the road. Casey had a good night for the Ubly Bearcats Football Team. That is a great memory to bring back for Casey Sweeney for a long time now. Went back home & beat the Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers at Jerry Herp Field in Ubly on Casey’s last home playing Football at & so was his Dad Bill’s last game as Head Coach of the Ubly Bearcats Football Team & Program. Won the Division 8 Regional Championship Game. Next week they lost to the Beal City Aggies at Mt. Pleasant HS 22-21. Ubly was going for the win on the 2-Pt Conversion to send Ubly to Ford Field in Detroit. They failed on that 2-Pt Conversion & lost the game anyways. Michigan Wolverines Football & Basketball Fan. Likes playing Baseball as well too. Saw the Michigan Wolverines Baseball Team play in the CWS Finals in Omaha in 2019 & lost to the Vanderbilt Commodores in 3 games. Detroit Tigers Baseball Team & Detroit Lions Football Team. Jim Harbaugh Fan. Casey will bring back those memories during his time at Ubly. Not going to College. Going to work instead. Played 3 Years On Varsity Football & Basketball. Graduating In 2020 On June 28th From Ubly. Going to miss Casey Sweeney Playing Football & Basketball for the Ubly Bearcats for good. Will miss his Dad Bill being Head Coach for the Ubly Bearcats Football Team & Program. Mark Dekoski & Aaron Maurer will do a good job with the Coaching Department for the Ubly Bearcats Football Team & Program in 2020. Casey is doing very well for himself during this Coronavirus Pandemic that is going on now. Works at Ubly Heights Golf Course. Watch Carson Heleski & Collin Oberski play RB in 2020. Still be there this coming fall for the Ubly Bearcats Football Team on Varsity. Sad not to play Baseball in 2020 Ubly Bearcats Team. School & Spring Sports got cancelled as well too. Good times will comeback for Casey Sweeney for now.
