Spencer Turnbull was solid in the victory for the Detroit Tigers against a good hitting lineup Chicago Cubs at Comerica Park in Detroit. Went 5 2/3 innings & also getting the victory for the Rebuilding Ball Club. Held them to 1 run in this 2nd game of this Interleague Series at home was excellent performance overall for the Detroit Tigers Pitching Staff. Cubs had 4 hits in this contest. Detroit Tigers hitting was solid in this one. Scored 7 runs. Jemier Candelario has been hitting very well in 7 out of the last 8 games for Ron Gardenhire. Isaac Paredes has been a nice addition at 3rd Base. Replacing Dawel Lugo nicely indeed. Ron has done amazing job with this Rebuilding Department in the last 3 years. Ahead of Schedule now. Heading in the right direction now in Detroit. Future is bright for this Ball Club moving forward to the upcoming years. It was a good hire by GM Al Avila on October 19th, 2017 to hire a good Baseball Guy to the Detroit Tigers Organization during the MLB Playoffs was going on now still. We are seeing good results already now in Detroit. Still got more work to do in the Rebuilding Department. Got good Pitching Prospects now. Hitting Prospects is heading in the right direction now in Detroit. Solid Performance from Spencer Turnbull on the mound on Tuesday Night against a good Chicago Cubs hitting lineup in this one indeed.
