Mark Krug is going to have a nice squad this coming season for the Bad Axe Hatchets Boys Basketball Team. Losing 2 players off the team a year ago. JV squad had a nice season as well too. GTCW Division is loaded again for the 3rd straight season in a row. Jack Clancy & company are talent players. Mark Krug is the 2nd best Boys Basketball Coach in the whole Thumb Area behind the best one Mark Gainforth for the USA Patriots. USA & Reese are still going to be loaded. They still got to work on there game in July. His best squad he had was in the 2015-16 season with Tommy Morneau & company. Went 20-0 in the regular season. Losing to the USA Patriots in the Class C District Championship Game at Harbor Beach HS in overtime. They lost to them again in the Division 3 District Championship Game at Cass City to the Undefeated USA Patriots. They are losing Micah Cramer & Tyler Heckroth off the USA Patriots Boys Basketball Team to graduation already now. They get Nash Morton best defender in the area & Landin Zimmer back as well too. Landin will be a 3-year player this coming season for USA. Saw the Bad Axe Hatchets play in the Sandusky Shootout a couple of weeks ago at Sandusky HS. They are a strong bunch. They want 10 players on the squad period on Varsity. I will be covering there games this coming season in the 2019-20 season. Mark Krug is a very nice guy to talk to.
