Dylan Kadar played a good game as Junior QB for the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team on Friday Night against the Bad Axe Hatchets at Claude Marsh Field in Bad Axe. Michael Anderson started the game at QB for Head Coach Troy Schelke. Drove them on one good drive in that one. Nathan Siemen scored on Reverse Play in the 1st Quarter & TD reception in the 4th Quarter. Devin Pfaff is a good RB/LB for the squad. Scored 2 TD Runs in the victory. Michael Anderson scored a TD reception in the 2nd Quarter. Made some receptions also too. Misplayed a couple of deep balls Bad Axe threw on them. He was position on those 2 deep balls Bad Axe attack on him. Ethan Hessling & Caden Boynton scored a TD run in the 4th Quarter. Defense played well in the opener. Except for 2 positions. Bad Axe completed a couple of 4th down plays on those 2 drives. Bad Axe scored on 2 TD passes. Harbor Beach’s Defensive Coordinator Ron Wruble knows there is work to be going still. There get there. Offensive Line Play needs work as well. There get there as well. You don’t want to peak to early in the 2019 Campaign. Lots of stuff need to be done yet. Too many penalties in this one. Mistakes come into play early on in the season. Good & Bad in the opener. Jack Clancy had a INT in late of the 2nd Quarter. Got injured in the 3rd Quarter. Bad Axe is a good squad. They will win games in 2019. Kelly Durr is got a good squad for the Bad Axe Hatchets. Bad Axe is got a tough schedule in GTCW Division Play still. Cass City & Lakers are the 2 best teams in the GTCW Division. Sandusky on the road in Week 9 of the 2019 campaign. Harbor Beach is got Ubly & Sandusky on the road in Week 5 & 8 respectfully. They also got to go to Lakers on the road in Week 9 of the regular season another tough opponent too. Harbor Beach is home against the Marlette Red Raiders next week. Bad Axe is at Vassar next week.
